FURS TO MISS SINNER'S DAY
Unfortunately, The Psychedelic Furs will not be performing at Sinner’s Day this weekend. We regretfully inform you that due to a situation beyond our control (through no fault of the band, the Sinner’s Day organizers, or our respective representatives), we must unfortunately cancel our upcoming European plans – including Sinner’s Day. Thank you for your understanding and continued support and we'll see you again in Europe in 2012!”.

RICHARD IN THE ROCKIES

Richard Butler along with Furs' guitarist Rich Good put on a rousing performance at the 1st Annual 7908’ Aspen Songwriters Festival, in Aspen, Colorado on Friday night, September 17th.  The festival, hosted by celebrated singer/songwriter John Oates brings together artists and songwriters from all musical styles for four days (September 16-September 19, 2010) in the picturesque city of Aspen (which is incidentally 7908 feet above sea level). The acoustic set at the legendary Wheeler Opera House, was a mix of Furs, Love Spit Love and Richard's solo songs.  Joining Richard and Rich for much of the set were John Oates on guitar, keyboardist Jed Leiber and world renowned mandolin player Sam Bush.   Playlist follows:   Pretty In Pink/Highwire Days/Am I Wrong/Satellites/Why Can't You Be Wrong/The Ghost In You/Wrong Train/My Time/Friends/California/Breathe/Broken Aeroplanes/Good Days, Bad Days/Love My Way. Thanks to everyone involved in this year's festival!!
